A glittering career sometimes hides the most piteous stories underneath. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA and the World championships in hurdle events in 2013, achieved this feat through a great deal of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones was the only member of a family with five children, and grew up living in poverty. Her mother was constantly shifting and even spent some time living at the bottom of her home. This nomadic life led Jones to attend the same school each year, until she began the high school. Jones who was interested in athletics at Theodore Roosevelt High School, was able to live in a different place from her mother so that she could pursue her interests. Jones was part of four families during her time in high school to study all in the same place. Jones was a member of both the orchestra of the school in Iowa and the Gatorade Track and Field Award. Also, she was awarded this award in the school. Jones began her athletic career in the NCAA as one of the best hurdlers. She won the 100-meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Jones was also part of the second team to win the 100-meter Relay event. Jones won both the hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones completed her college education in 2005, started to train hard for track. The same year she also took home in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track race and Heusden.

Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South African. She immigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt was cast in the role as Naevia for the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Together with producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight) She became an instant success. Mazikeen is a popular DC/Vertigo character from comics and the Vertigo/DC show Lucifer was her character on the hit Netflix show. Lucifer has broken the record of binge viewing and was named as the best series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt is set to next appear alongside Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off scheduled to air in 2024. The animated adult series Captain Fall will premiere on Netflix on July 20, 2023. She stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on December 2, 1981. She's quite an accomplished New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt, along with her whole family, moved into Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After several years being employed in the retail industry her promotion was to the position of an IT consultant. Lesley began her professional career as a commercial ad-writer after some modeling opportunities. The year 2008 was the time she finished her studies in acting. In 2009, she began her acting studies, she continued training by using the Meisner method of study. Lesley's first big role with New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up on The New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street as a guest supporting appearance. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she played the town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
