Washington Butler was a native Puyallup Washington was always interested in art. She performed on stage and in schools. When she moved from Los Angeles, she studied theater in the University of Southern California and played Belle the princess on the stage in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for one year and one quarter. Also, she had a regular part in the web-based series I Like Vampires.Butler got the role of lead in the rape and revenge thriller I Spit on Your Grave which is a remake from the 1978 famous film of the same title. While initially disliking the movie's violence and nudity she came to accept the feminist nature of the plot and the strong characters. Butler played Jennifer Hills who, having been viciously assaulted in a forest cabin and then gang-raped, seeks revenge on the perpetrators. Steven R. Monroe helmed the movie, which came out on October 8, 2010. Butler started filming The Stranger Within (a psychological thriller) in Mallorca, Spain, with Estella Ward and William Baldwin back in November 2011. The film was also shot at Copenhagen Denmark as well as New York City. In June 2012, she joined Michael Biehn in the Los Angeles production of Treachery. Butler made an appearance on screen in The Demented, a 2013 horror film with Michael Welch, Kayla Ewell and Michael Welch.

Ferland was Bree Tanner as the third Twilight film, Eclipse. Additional credits on film and TV for Ferland are The Cabin in the Woods, Mighty Fine Ice Quake and Home Alone: The Holiday Heist featuring Renee Zellweger and Case 39. Ferland is not only her Emmy nomination she has received during her career more than several other honors. This includes a Young Artist Award and a CAMIE Award.
