Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as a young child. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk announced to the fans her good information that she was pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the series' premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to work on the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
